Wild Ancient Black Tea

This is a premium Yunnan black tea. Created with leaves which have been carefully picked from the same ancient Chinese tea trees, that all Yunnan Village teas are sourced from. The pedigree of these trees dates back up to 3,200 years, creating unique flavours in our range of organic teas. The large black twisted leaves of our Wild Organic Black Tea, offers the drinker a full bodied Yunnan brew.

Copper in colour, producing earthy aromas, with a background of peach and candy. The taste is smooth, almost woody with hints of fruit and malt but with a really gentle astringency. A perfect tea for any time of the day, especial with food or nibbles. Only these ancient trees and the red soils of Yunnan, can produce such a brew.

Ingredients: 100% wild organic black tea

Flavour: Smooth, mellow, almost woody with hints of fruit, particularly stone fruits, honey and malty creaminess. A noticeably gentle astringency, synonymous with quality Yunnan teas.

Brewing Suggestion: 1 teaspoon per cup infuser or 2 teaspoons per medium tea pot.

Tips: Each serving of Wild Organic Black Tea stands up to 5 brews. To bring out the best flavour it is recommended to add hot water between 85°c - 95°c and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
