Made from fermented and aged leaves. Considered a black tea, its leaves are pressed into cakes. Studies have shown that consumption of pu-erh reduced weight gain and reduced LDL cholesterol and visceral fats.

White tea:

Despite it’s name white tea has a pleasant pale yellow colour. Wild white tea is a medium-bodied tea which contains flavours of honey, melon, citrus and herb. It’s gentle texture but rich tapestry of flavours make it an enjoyable tea to enjoy with family and friends.

Uncured and unfermented white tea is dried naturally, often in sunlight, making it the least processed and richest source of antioxidants among teas meaning white tea has the most potent anticancer properties compared to more processed teas (Up to three times as many polyphenols as green tea!). Studies have shown that white tea can simultaneously boost the breakdown of fat (lipolysis) and block the formation of fat cells (adipogenesis) due to high levels of ingredients thought to be active on human fat cells.
